I use photographic work to inform my paintings. Often, as with 'For Frankenstein' these are heavily researched and planned before hand and are based in the tradition of representing the female nude, and purposefully challenge this lineage. Much of my photographic work has been collaborative with the Photo Therapist Kim Bromley.
However, some of these images are photos of actual hospital stays and not posed for art purposes.
